Our Values

Our values help define the culture of our club and how we interact with our skaters and community. We strongly encourage all skaters and their families to embrace the following elements: 

1. Fitness for Life - Palmerston Skating Club promotes the desire to be physically active for life and teaches fundamental skating skills that can support positive lifelong physical activity habits.  

2. Diversity & Inclusiveness - Palmerston Skating Club promotes and supports diversity and inclusion within its membership (see Skate Canada Inclusion Policy). 

3. Collaboration - Palmerston Skating Club encourages participation and collaboration among its members and the community-at-large. 

4. Passion - Participation in the sport fosters discipline, commitment, motivation and cooperation of all participants, which can be applied in their day-to-day lives beyond the sport.
